Despite the growing strategic importance of the workforce, measuring the impact of human performance programs and initiatives on key business results is far from commonplace. In the Accenture High-Performance Workforce , an exclusive and comprehensive survey of 200 executives in six countries, we found that only 18 percent of respondents said they get either weekly or monthly evaluations of the effectiveness of their training efforts, and 14 percent never receive such evaluations.
